When you have a fleet, in the shipyard/outfitter on the upper right it will show every ship you have which ever one is first in that list is the ship you will be flying. Use Ctrl and Shift to select multiple ships, with this you can also edit large groups simultaneously in the outfitter. 'G' gathers your escorts around you. So i want to discuss the carriers in endless sky. At the moment their fighter die in less than a minute and do nothing more than distract firepower for those 40 or so seconds. That's still a major role, but it doesn't mean we can't have dedicated carriers - ships whose main source of firepower is it's fighter armada. This shows a list of all your ships and their current system, among other things. You'll find your ship there. In the above image, my ship Astrid is in the Markab system. I recently told my escorts to 'Hold' in the Altair system, then told them to 'Gather around me'. I took the screenshot as they started to come to meet me.

Endless Sky Ship Names
I had a really enjoyable experience my first time through Endless Sky. I made a lot of discoveries and had a lot of fun. As I reached the endgame, though, I was a little dissatisfied with my Bactrian and its fleet of Beetle escorts. Sure, we were practically invincible (except a couple of times when we were ambushed by four or more Marauder fleets). Sure, we had enough cargo space and bunks to fulfill practically any mission, any time. Sure, we had dominated all the Pirate planets, and a few others who dared to attack us during the war. But the salaries I was paying just seemed... wasteful, somehow.I calculated that it would take thousands of jumps for the salaries to eat through my credit, assuming I never made money every again. But I was still dissatisfied. I wanted a powerful fleet with minimal expense. The Universe should work for me, dang it!
Enter John Connor.
